Treatment consult, Part I

We met with Dr. I, a medical oncologist, Thursday. Dr. I is recommending radiation and hormonal therapy, but not chemotherapy. Dr I's expert opinion is that any benefits to be gained by chemo aren't worth the risks associated with it. We're getting a second opinion, of course, but being able to avoid chemo's risks and side-effects sounds like positive news to me.

FrogRev is working on the Easter service and I've spent another big chunk of time on taxes--federal plus two states. I have more notes on what we learned, but I'll hold them for tomorrow, when one of us should be able to concentrate on summarizing them.
