Feeling Good

"Wo! I feel good, I knew that I would now. . .
So good, so good, I got you. . . "

(sing James Brown's "I feel good" tune here, dancing is optional).

Did you sing? I can’t hear you.
Don't read any further without singing.

I’m finished with the antibiotics. Can I get an amen?
I haven't had to take a nap in a week. I still have periodic pain but I'm off the pain meds. They said the shooting pain could last for months (or possibly years) so I can’t dwell on that.
I’ve been keeping up with my Jazzercise class. I couldn’t do all the push-ups this morning but I’ll let you in on a little secret: I couldn’t do them all before the surgery either. I’m back teaching Confirmation Class and writing sermons and feeling good!
Can I get another amen?

Thursday I have some bloodwork that I have to fast 12 hours for and tell them everything I ate on Wednesday (down to every pat of butter). I’m guessing this means I’m going to eat very healthy Wednesday. Who wants to write down a scoop of Ben&Jerry’s?

Gotta go, it’s a beautiful day and I gotta do some soil prep so I can get the tomato plants in the ground tomorrow.
